At the JKIA, this client, who values our expertise, had no choice but to come back for more, this time in the form of a container office complex made from four 40-foot shipping containers.
Following the first set of offices that involved two units, our esteemed customer called again, this time with twice the magnitude.
Here, four 40-foot containers were vertically stacked and refurbished into eight offices, complete with a roof, staircases, and balconies with safety barriers.
What is Special About this Project?
The centrally placed staircases provide easy access to all individual office spaces.
The exterior ceiling of the roof is wood-covered for improved insulation and a natural, aesthetically pleasing look.
The roof has gutters attached to drain rainwater to the drainage system on the ground.
The Container Office Interior
Ceramic tile floors and gypsum boards on walls and ceilings.
Modern electrical systems support lighting and power for office equipment, which includes computers, AC units, refrigerators, and copiers.
High-efficiency LG air conditioning units are installed (up to 12,000 BTU), complete with exterior exhaust vents for optimized air circulation.
The Exterior
The building features centrally placed staircases, each leading to either set of containers, for convenient access to all offices.
The structure’s roof is insulated and aesthetically enhanced with wood cladding.
It is also fitted with all-around gutters that direct rainwater to the ground.
